January 29,1956 Celtics beat Royals 2nd straight day

The Celtics and Royals met for the 2nd straight day this time in Boston and the result was just like it was in Rochester, the end result being a win for the Celtics. The Celtics scored 10 points in the final 1:34 to come out with a 112-103 win over the Royals. The Celtics 24 free throws were the key to their victory as the Royals beat them in field goals 42-39. The Celtics pulled within 3 1/2 of the division leading Warriors with their season record at 26-19.

I guess when there are only a few teams in the league, you play a lot of mini-series against the other teams
