February 12, 1956- Celtics beat Knicks 116-108

The Boston Celtics spoiled Vince Boryla's 1st game on the road as Knicks coach by rallying to beat the Knicks 116-108 in front of 7,086 fans at the Boston Garden. The Celtics had blown a 6 point 3rd quarter lead and entered the 4th quarter trailing by 4. Boston then went on a hot streak in the 4th quarter led by Bill Sharman who scored 29 points in the game. Jim Loscutoff also had a big 4th quarter with 9 of his 13 points coming in the 4th. The win brought the Celtics season record to 31-24 and they would have 5 days before playing their next game.
