January 21, 1956 Celtics beat Nationals 100-96

The Boston Celtics won over the Syracuse Nationals 100-96 in Philadelphia in the 1st game of a NBA doubleheader. Bill Sharman led the Celtics with 21 points. The Celtics victory brought their season record to 24-15. In the 2nd game of the doubleheader George Yardley scored 23 points as the Pistons pulled out a close victory over the Philadelphia Warriors 92-91. Joe Graboski scored 28 points for Philly.
