January 28,1956 Celtics beat Royals 126-119

The Boston Celtics ended their 4 game losing streak by heading into Rochester and beating the Royals 126-119 in a game that honored Royals forward Ed Fleming. Ed Macauley broke a 117- all deadlock with 2 free throws at 1:23 left to play in the game. The Celtics proceeded to score seven straight points as they went on to win for the 3rd time in Rochester for the season. It was the highest scoring NBA game ever played in Rochester. Jack Twyman led all scorers with 40 points, 39 of them before the 4th quarter. Attendance for the game was 4,004.
