The league leading Philadelphia Warriors went into the Boston Garden and got a big 129-115 win over the Celtics. Boston got a strong performance from their Big 3 of Macauley, Cousy, and Sharman, but it was not enough to beat the Warriors who had a big game from Paul Arizin who scored 39 points. The loss dropped Boston's record for the season to 24-16 leaving the Celtics 2 1/2 games behind the division leading Warriors.
