The Celtics and Royals met for the 2nd straight day this time in Boston and the result was just like it was in Rochester, the end result being a win for the Celtics. The Celtics scored 10 points in the final 1:34 to come out with a 112-103 win over the Royals. The Celtics 24 free throws were the key to their victory as the Royals beat them in field goals 42-39. The Celtics pulled within 3 1/2 of the division leading Warriors with their season record at 26-19.
